Ag Tech Solutions: Tools That Earn Their Keep

Full disclosure: I'm a licensed dealer for the companies listed here. That means they pay me. It also means I've either tested their technology on my own acres or partnered with them because they think about agronomy the way I do. It's not one-size-fits-all. These are specific tools for specific situations, and my job is to help you figure out if they actually fit your situation, or not.

A Look Around The Shop

From initial scan to annual reporting. Every tool has its purpose. Every result is documented.

Boots On The Ground

I’m not a "satellite agronomist" who stares at maps from a climate-controlled office. I’m in the dirt with you. I walk your rows to verify what the data is saying and catch the small issues before they become harvest-time disasters.

It’s about more than just a weekly report; it’s about having a pair of eyes on your acres that prioritizes your ROI like you do.

Free Initial Consultation

A shop talk where we put your current plan up against the data we're seeing in our field trials. Could be 30 minutes, could be half the morning and two pots of coffee. We'll probably get sidetracked talking about farming. That's the best part.

  • High Level Fertility Review: NPK efficiency.

  • Precision Integration: What, if anything, fits your specific acres?

  • Nutrient ROI: Mapping out where your input dollars are actually going.

What to Expect

At every step, from initial scan to annual reporting, it all has a purpose and every result is documented.

  • Scan

Earth Optics. Only platform that maps fertility, pathogen DNA, and compaction from a single pass. Standard grid sampling checks one spot every 2.5 acres and guesses about everything in between. We map at 100x that resolution while poking fewer holes. You see what's actually in your soil.

  • Test

BW Fusion's soil health analysis measures what standard tests miss. WEOC, enzyme activity, microbial function, soil respiration. This is the number that tells you whether your biology is working and whether it's improving year over year.

  • Plan

We interpret both datasets and build a fertility recommendation for your specific acres. What to apply, when to apply it, what to cut, what to leave alone. If something doesn't pencil, we tell you that.

  • Fund

Federal and state cost-share programs cover significant portions of soil testing and conservation practice costs. For some practices the cost-share payment meets or exceeds the service cost. A partner handles the enrollment paperwork.

  • Execute

American-made Hylio drones handle precision foliar application, cover crop seeding, and nutrient efficiency products. Zero compaction. Access to fields ground rigs can't reach. Everything is flight-logged and documented so you get credit for your practice changes.

  • Measure

Follow-up testing documents whether the changes worked. Over time, you build a real dataset: soil health, yield, input efficiency. You actually know what you're getting for your money. Name the last consultant who built that kind of record for you.

  • Repeat

You see the math. You renew. You expand acres. The system gets smarter every season because we're building on data from your fields, not somebody else's.
